I run regular free-of-charge mindfulness groups that cover a range of topics such as:

"Anxiety and Stress" - improve your responses, resilience, calmness, physical and mental health.

"Loss and Bereavement" - finding peace, refuge, connection, self-kindness, acceptance, rebuild meaning, and allow transformation.

"Live Your Best Life" - embrace the pleasure and follow your bliss, improve your physical and mental wellbeing, concentration, focus, and self-esteem.
With an emphasis on experiential and fully supported learning, courses are held is medium sized groups. My teaching style is calm, inclusive, supportive, and considerate.
Groups are designed to be accessible for those both new and experienced in Mindfulness practice. Chairs are provided but if you would like to use a matt or bolster please bring your own.
Groups are free-of-charge and are held on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings, in Loughton or Abridge, Essex.
"Anxiety and Stress"
This group is designed to reduce stress and anxiety through gentle guided meditation, tutor led learning, group discussion, and follow up resources.
This group is suitable for both beginners and experts, there is no need for any prior experience of mindfulness meditation as the evening starts with a short practice, followed by an explanation of the principals of mindfulness, the science behind it, and the potential benefits. The evening concludes a longer practice.
The group is free-of-charge and places are allocated on a first come first served basis, and supported by printed notes and website links for follow up practice and self-supported learning.
Next group is this October 2023, it will be a Wednesday evening at 7:30pm for 1 hour.
"Loss and Bereavement"
This group is for those perhaps struggling to come to terms with or heal from the grief of losing a loved one. Not necessarily a recent loss it may have been many years even decades ago. I would suggest that more than six months has passed since your loss.
Suitable for both beginners and experts, there is no need for any prior experience of mindfulness meditation as the evening starts with a short practice, followed by a group discussion, and then builds to a longer practice at the end.
During the evening and follow-up practice there will be resources with the potential to help ease the physical symptoms of grief, calm the mind, and help regulate difficult emotions. Improve awareness of the present moment and increase compassion toward oneself and others.

Next group is this October 2023, it will be a Wednesday evening at 7:30pm for 1 hour.
"Live Your Best Life"
This group will teach you tools with the potential to help you to increase your capacity to embrace the moment by moment pleasure of your life, to help you fully grasp the privilege of being exactly who you are, and get out of your own way.
During the evening we will look at how to become more aware, noticing what happens, integrating this awareness to go deeper, creating new choices, linking these insights to self-compassion, changing habits, processes, and behaviours, and how to sustain that change.
We will take a first look at the neuroscience of mindfulness, and how to cultivate equanimity.
This group is for those already familiar with mindfulness meditation. There is no need to be an expert but prior experience of mindfulness meditation is a must. The evening starts with a medium length practice, followed by a tutor led learning, culminating with a longer practice at the end.
During the evening and follow-up practice there will be resources designed to help you understand the benefits of mindfulness, self-compassion, and how to sustain practice.
